Walter Pollard, 90, a resident of Alaska for 36 years, died January 30 at the Pioneers Home in Sitka. He worked as a carpenter in Anchorage until 1964, when he entered the Pioneers Home. Surviving are three sons, James, Fred and Charles, and a daughter, Mrs. Grace Wright, all of California.
