Mrs. Lucretla S. Botsford, 83, died at Carmel, Calif. April 1. She first came to Alaska in 1911 and, after serving overseas during World War I, returned to Valdez where she was a legal secretary- She was secretary for Alaska Delegate Anthony J. Dimond in Washington, D.C., and returned to Alaska in 1937 and was associated with the Social Security Administration at Juneau and later with the Bureau of Mines. She had lived in Carmel for the past 12 years.� [Aug1965]
