Dewey Goodrich, 68, died April 18 at his home in Purdy, Wash., where he had lived since he left Nome in 1958. At Nome for 30 years or longer, he was store manager for Northern Commercial Company and Lorn en Commercial Company. He was active in civic affairs there, serving as president of Rotary Club and the Chamber of Commerce, He also was a former vice president of the Territorial Chamber and was a member of the Alaska Board of Road Commissioners for a number of years.Ã?Â [Sep1965]
