Claude G. Shea, 73, who came to Alaska as a child and attended school at Nome, died recently at Mount Vernon, Wash., where he had made his home for some years. in Alaska, Mr. Shea served as a deputy U.S. Marshal and in 1926 he joined the Washington State Patrol, rising to the rank of captain.� [Aug1965]
