Claude E. Rogers, 68, a maintenance supervisor in road construction, died October 29 in Anchorage. He came to Alaska in 1933, and he began his career with the Alaska Road Commission, building and maintaining roads in Anchorage, Kodiak, and in the Mount McKinley area. He was heavily involved in the construction of the Sterling, Denali, Taylor, Richardson, and Glenn highways as well as the Mount McKinley Park Road. [Mar1981]
